Who we are
AMP Master Painters (ABN 90 729 855 433) is a family owned painting business based in Doncaster East VIC 3109. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and when you deal with us.
What we collect
When you request a quote we collect the details you choose to give us:
- your name, phone number and, if you provide it, your email address
- your suburb, the type of property, the work you need and your preferred timing
- any photos you upload of the job
- how you heard about us and whether you are asking about the seniors discount
To protect the form from spam, a Cloudflare Turnstile security check runs when you submit it. It uses technical information such as your IP address and browser details to tell people from automated programs. We also keep basic server logs for security.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, inspect and quote the job, carry out and invoice the work, and follow up afterwards, for example to check you are happy or to invite you to leave a review. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the website and our business:
- Cloudflare hosts this website, stores quote requests and photos, runs the spam check and sends our enquiry emails.
- Google Workspace provides our business email.
These providers may store or process information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers with strong security practices, and they handle the information only to provide their services to us. We will also disclose information if the law requires it.
How we store and protect it
Quote requests are stored in a private database and uploaded photos in private storage that only AMP can access. We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them to quote, carry out and guarantee the work, including our 7-year guarantee period, and to meet our legal and tax obligations. After that we delete them.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are visited. It does not use cookies and does not identify you personally.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email info@ampmasterpainters.com.au or call 1300 61 61 51 and we will respond within 30 days.
If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
