We partner with Melbourne builders, interior designers and architects to paint new homes, apartments and commercial buildings. You get a crew that turns up when the programme says, works safely on site and hands over clean.

We work with builders, developers, interior designers and architects on new homes, townhouse developments, apartment blocks, commercial buildings, extensions and fit-outs. Whether you need a crew for one house or a staged development, we plan labour against your programme and keep your site supervisor updated as each stage finishes.
New work looks simple but has its own traps. New plasterboard needs a sealer or undercoat so the top coats dry evenly and the joins do not show through. New timber and MDF trims need priming on every face. New render needs time to cure before it is coated: at least 28 days (Taubmans), and four to eight weeks before a texture coating (Dulux), depending on thickness and weather. We check moisture with a meter rather than painting to a date, and our guide to painting rendered walls explains why.
Building curing time into the programme early avoids the most common new-build paint failure: coatings going onto render or masonry that is still wet.
We quote and paint to your drawings and finish schedule, using the Dulux, Taubmans or Wattyl systems specified. Before full production, samples and test areas are signed off, so colour, sheen and finish level are agreed before the whole building is painted. If the specification leaves something open, we raise it at the scoping stage rather than on site.
Painters usually follow plasterers and carpenters and work alongside electricians, plumbers and floor layers. We coordinate with your site supervisor on sequencing, protect finished surfaces such as joinery and floors, and come back for touch-ups after other trades have finished. Every site runs under our OH&S procedures, and our team holds construction induction and Working with Children checks, backed by $10M public liability insurance.
Colours that look right on a sample board can read differently across a whole facade or a long apartment corridor. Test areas on site let the builder, designer or client see the actual colour, sheen and finish level in place, under the building’s own light, before production starts. Once they are approved, the same products and colours are used throughout, so finishes stay consistent from the first unit to the last.
At the end of each stage we inspect the work with the builder and close out defects promptly, so the finish passes the client’s inspection first time. Every job comes with our written 7-year guarantee covering our workmanship.
New build work is quoted from drawings and the finish schedule, followed by a site visit. The main factors are the area and number of surfaces, the specified coating systems and finish levels, the number of colours, access and height, and how the work is staged across the programme. Our guide to what a painting quote should include lists what a complete quote covers.
